St. Paul's Inter College was founded on 21 January 1974. It was established by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lucknow with the object of imparting modern education primarily to Catholic Students in a manner that would conserve their "RELIGION LANGUAGE, SCRIPT AND CULTURE" but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community.

In order to secure all that is best in education for our children, the maximum co-operation between parents and the college Authorities is desired. Hence, parents/guardians are expected to co-operate with the college Authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline, ensuring that their children prepare their lessons daily, arrive at school on time, wear neat and clean uniforms, and take an active interest in the activities of the College.
